BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Pirrone has years of experience in angiography and interventional radiology. A graduate of UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine, he went on to complete a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. Dr. Pirrone continued his training by completing a Fellowship in Angio/Interventional Radiology at the University of Maryland. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Pirrone previously served as an attending physician at the University of Louisville as well as Central Florida Medical Imaging.
Dr. Pirrone is experienced performing interventional oncology procedures including Y90 embolization, DEB chemo-embolization, RFA, irreversible electroporation in addition to UFE, TIPS, PVD work, vertebral augmentation, dialysis maintenance, venous access, nerve blocks, percutaneous drains and biopsies.
